After stepping into the art career since 2004, 25-year-old Khmer singer Sim Thaina, born in Battambang, left M Production and works for new Production- Bigmen- after well-know singer Meas Soksophea. Thaina’s voice has been supported by Cambodian young youths and she is popular as well. Besides thecareer of singer, she has also worked for TV5 television as TV presenter. According to the interview with Khmer-language newspaper, she also confirmed that she made decision to quite M Production by herself and there will be no any disputes with Production. She added that she has yet to sign contract with new Production but she recorded three songs already. And those songs have been supported by youths.
It is normal for performers to move from one Production to others because they need new place for improving their lifestyle and career.
This year, she reached 25 years old but she still doesn’t hint about her own love. She said that love is not more important than her currentcareer because when her career is successful, her love is successful too.
So far, there are two singers leaving M Production. Some concerns are raised that what will happen to M Production in the future. And it still gain market share from other Productions.
